Aurora HR works exclusively with British Columbia employers. That is a deliberate constraint rather than a limitation: employment standards, WorkSafeBC obligations, pay transparency requirements, and human rights process all operate at the provincial level, and a firm working across several jurisdictions cannot hold all of them at the same depth. We hold one.
The law is province-wide. The labour market isn't.
Every employer in British Columbia works under the same Employment Standards Act, the same WorkSafeBC regime, and the same Pay Transparency Act. A minimum wage increase lands in Kelowna on the same day it lands in Burnaby. In that sense, your obligations do not change with your postal code.
What does change is the market you operate in. A Surrey organization adding forty people in eighteen months has a different problem from a Victoria society whose board wants compensation decisions documented before the next AGM. A Richmond employer running three shifts has different record-keeping exposure than an Okanagan operator whose workforce triples in July. The compliance floor is identical. The pressure that brings an employer to us is not.
