    Wa'el Hussein

    Wa’el Hussein is a senior People & Culture executive with over 15 years of experience across private, public, and non-profit sectors. He specializes in aligning people strategy with organizational mission through practical, high-impact work in total rewards, HR policy, HRIS, organizational design, performance management, and leadership support. His executive HR experience includes leading the People & Culture function for a large BC non-profit recognized as one of Canada’s Best Workplaces and advancing people-first practices including equitable compensation design and living wage leadership. He is passionate about building clear, sustainable HR systems that strengthen both employee experience and organizational performance.

    Gary McFarlane

    Gary McFarlane

    Gary is an experienced HR Generalist with more than a decade of hands-on HR experience and over 30 years in the non-profit sector. He is known for his empathetic, equity-focused approach and strong commitment to social justice. Gary brings deep expertise in training, communications, process improvement, and employee engagement. With a creative background in the arts, he offers a unique perspective that enhances problem-solving and collaboration. Outside of work, Gary enjoys hiking the North Shore mountains and pursuing his passion for music.
